Overview

A snatch block is a specialized pulley with a side-opening casing that allows easy insertion of wire rope or cable without the need to feed the line through the entire sheave. This design is ideal for lifting, hoisting, towing, or rigging applications where the load direction needs to be changed or mechanical advantage is required
. The 6-inch sheave size is commonly used for medium to heavy loads and is compatible with standard wire ropes or synthetic lines depending on the block’s rated rope diameter.
