The Akord 8G x 60mm chipboard screws are high-quality, gold passivated screws with a countersunk rib head, designed for strong and secure fastening in chipboard, particle board, and MDF, sold in packs of 50.

Features

Designed for chipboard and particle board construction, including cabinets, furniture, shelves, and medium-density fiberboard
Coarse thread and fine shank provide maximum grip while reducing the risk of strip-out
Ribbed heads assist in removing chipboard particles during countersinking, making flush installation easier
Suitable for internal use, particularly in furniture and cabinetry projects
Ensure the screw is long enough to provide approximately 20mm penetration into the substrate to secure the pieces effectively
Use a #2 Phillips bit in a power screwdriver set to low speed (~800 rpm) for clean and precise installation
